Q: What insurance do you accept?
A: PT by Marge is an Out of Network provider. I will provide you with an invoice that includes your treatment codes and diagnostic codes that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Q: How much will my insurance reimburse?
A: Your reimbursement depends on your particular plan with your particular insurance company. Most companies may also require that you meet a deductible before they will compensate you. I have made an effort to keep our charges within the “customary and acceptable” guidelines of most insurance companies. It is suggested that you find out/know their out-of-network benefits. You can do this by calling the member information number on the back of your card to speak with your insurance company.
Q: Do you accept Medicare?
A: I do not accept Medicare. It is possible to have an hour of wellness maintenance. I will give you a sales receipt for “wellness and maintenance” and it will not include diagnostic codes and ICD-9 codes. ****I have a letter of clarification regarding our Medicare status.
Q: Do I need a prescription?
A: I do require a prescription for treatment. Your insurance company, may require it for reimbursement.
Q: How long are appointments?
A: All appointments, both initial evaluations and follow ups are scheduled for 60 minutes.
Q: How many times a week will I need to come in?
A: Due to the length and intensity of our treatment sessions, most people come in once a week before tapering off. It depends on your particular condition and how you respond to treatments as to what your treatment plan may be. You and your therapist will develop a treatment plan based on your goals and the findings from the evaluation. You will also receive therapeutic exercises to improve strength ad/ or flexibility in order to meet your functional goals.
Q: How many sessions do I need before I notice a change?
A: The recommended frequency and duration of the sessions are individual based on your initial symptoms and the length of time you have been affected by them. Some people find relief in a couple of sessions and others may need consistent, ongoing sessions for a longer period time.
It is recommended that you come in for at least two sessions at a minimum of one week apart to assess your general response to the treatment. From then, based on your response, I can formulate an appropriate treatment schedule.
Q: How do you accept payment?
A: Payment is accepted via cash, check made out to PT by Marge and with Visa or Mastercard credit cards. Credit card payments are received via Intuit.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Please cancel your physical therapy session to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.
Q: What is the cost and duration of a treatment session?
A: Physical Therapy evaluation: $145 initial and $135 for subsequent sessions.
